SUNUP
Support
Paloma Mail and Apunta Notes are made by Gonzalez Consulting LLC (Oklahoma, USA). One SunUp account — the same username — signs you in to both.
Need help? Email info@gonzalezcap.com — a person answers, usually within one business day.
Paloma Mail
Getting started
- Your account. New accounts are created with an invite code. Sign in with your SunUp username (the same one as Apunta Notes) — never an email address.
- Connect a mailbox. Settings & mailboxes → Connect a mailbox, then type the address. Paloma finds the
right servers for you.
- Google and Microsoft: sign in on Google's or Microsoft's own page. Paloma never sees that password.
- iCloud, Yahoo and most other providers: use an app-specific password from your provider (for iCloud: appleid.apple.com → Sign-In and Security → App-Specific Passwords).
- A live window. Your mail stays with your provider. Everything you do in Paloma — read, archive, delete, move — happens in your real mailbox.
Using Paloma
- Waiting on me lists the people waiting for your answer. "Not needed" takes one off the list without touching the mail; "Show dismissed" brings it back.
- Cards collect what to act on: receipts and bills, quotes, meetings, requests and packages. Every card can be dismissed, and "Dismiss all" clears the page (with Undo).
- Businesses. Settings → Your businesses tells the assistant how to sort your mail; re-filing a conversation teaches it the sender.
- Notifications are set per mailbox in Settings → Notifications.
Your data
- Disconnect a mailbox in Settings: its saved sign-in and the assistant's notes for it are removed.
- Delete everything in Settings → Delete my data (Paloma only, or your whole SunUp account). You can also email us and we'll delete it within 30 days.
- The assistant runs on our own server; your mail is not sent to outside AI companies. See the Paloma Mail Privacy Policy.
Apunta Notes
Getting started
- Your account. The same SunUp username as Paloma, created with an invite code. Never an email address.
- Record a meeting from the app, a widget, Control Center, Siri or the Action Button. Recording laws differ by state — tell everyone before you record (Apunta reminds you).
- Write and scan. Handwrite with Apple Pencil or your finger, scan paper into PDFs, and add Word, Excel, PowerPoint and photo files to any note.
Recording
- It keeps recording with the screen locked. Every 30 seconds a piece is saved on your phone and sent up.
- Phone calls and other apps can pause a recording (iPhones don't let an app record during a call). Apunta tells you right away, picks back up by itself, and marks the gap — "📞 Call 1:16–1:22 · not in this recording". To keep the call itself, tap ⏺ on the call screen (iPhone saves it in the Notes app).
- If a recording ever stops, you get an "Apunta stopped recording" notice, and the recording bar shows Resume now.
- Your copy in the Files app: On My iPhone › Apunta Notes › Recordings holds each recording until it's safely uploaded and transcribed, then Apunta removes it. You can open, save or AirDrop it from there any time before.
- Upload on Wi-Fi only: Settings → Uploads. On cellular, recordings wait on your phone; "Send now on cellular" in the sync sheet sends them anyway.
- If your phone is low on space, the recording bar warns you. Apunta never stops a recording for that.
No signal
- Record, write, type, file and search without a connection. The 📴 pill at the top shows what's waiting; it all goes up when you're back online. Tap the pill for the sync sheet.
Transcripts and notes
- Transcripts show each speaker on their own lines; tap any sentence to hear it.
- Meeting notes are marked Draft — check them before you rely on them. What was said lists the key moments in the speakers' own words; tap a time to listen, and ✕ hides one you don't need.
Your data
- Recordings are transcribed and summarized on our own server — not sent to outside AI companies, never used to train AI. See the Apunta Notes Privacy Policy.
- Signing out removes your notes from that device (they stay in your account). Recordings that haven't uploaded yet stay on the phone and go up when you sign back in.
- Delete your account in Settings → Your account → Delete my account, or email us and we'll delete it within 30 days.
